Fear, Heartbreak, and Despair is Commonplace in Afghanistan
Afghan people have faced much violence, oppression, hardship, hunger, loss, poverty…the list goes on and on. The Epek team sees this firsthand, as we are Afghan-led, and Afghan volunteers are part of our team on the ground. Sometimes the need is overwhelming and it is almost emotionally unbearable. It is our privilege to offer small glimpses of hope by showing love and care through food packages, medical care, a friendly, listening ear—whatever we can do.
